Agreement and Terms of Service

By submitting this form, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agreed to the terms listed below, including any fees and conditions required for the search. I understand that submitting this form constitutes a digital signature and agreement to the following terms:1. Ownership of Recovered Items:
All items found during the search, excluding the specific lost item(s) described herein, shall remain the property of Reuben Marcus, also known as The Finder. If it’s not yours, it’s his — fair is fair. The exception is, if I’m searching your property, everything I find is yours.2. Call-Out Fee:
The Finder shall receive the call-out fee before heading to the search location. The fee can be sent via Zelle, PayPal and/or cash upon arrival. This fee covers time, travel, and expenses, and is non-refundable — even if your lost item turns up under your couch five minutes later. ;0)3. Reward Not Based on Time Spent:
The reward you offer me for finding your lost item isn’t based on how long the search takes. Whether I find it in five minutes or five hours, the reward stays the same. What you’re rewarding is the experience, equipment, and effort I bring to help recover something important to you—not just the time it takes.4. Limitation of Liability:
The Finder shall not be held responsible for any damage to your jewelry or belongings that may have occurred prior to or during the search. Delicate items may have already suffered damage, and The Finder doesn’t carry a magic wand… just a metal detector.5. Acceptance of Found Items:
As the customer, I agree to accept the recovered item(s) in their found condition. I understand that I am responsible for payment for services rendered, regardless of how shiny (or not) the item looks after its adventure.6. Media Release:
I give permission for The Finder to use my photo or video to help promote his services, including the Book of Smiles on TRF website, blog, YouTube channel, or in newspaper articles or TV news stories. Your smile could inspire the next recovery mission! If you have issues with the media release, please talk to me - we can get around it.I confirm that I have read and understand this agreement, and I accept and agree to be legally bound by its terms and conditions.
